The Internal Security Agency

The ABW identifies and counters cyber threats that could compromise the security of public institutions. We monitor online activity and detect cyberattacks targeting the public administration, the defence, energy sector and financial sectors and key critical infrastructure. We analyse their sources and prevent escalation.

Why is this important?

The protection of Polish cyberspace is now a key component of national security.  In the current digital era, cyberattacks can paralyse critical infrastructure sectors, cause financial losses and destabilise the  state. Early detection and analysis of threats enable a faster response and help protect critical systems.
